Sturdy
Seems sturdy so far. I live in Florida so paying the extra cost for stainless steel only makes sense. I chose the larger sized hose rack as I planned to double hose length. The picture included shows a 5/8 100′ hose. Should be plenty of room for additional hose. Also note this has five mounting holes, not two like smaller racks. Two larger screws are provided for top holes, three smaller screws for lower three holes. This rack should last a lifetime.

Easy To Install. Holds My 100 Foot Hose
This is a sturdy and easy to install hose holder. I have this mounted to a 6×6 outside in my rear yard, and I am hanging a 100-foot hose on it. It’s large and if you have a long hose, this is what you need. It feels durable, and the look is modern. If you need an external hose holder, and have somewhere to hang this, I will say pick this up. It does the job and I like it.

Sturdy hose hook
Very impressed with the size and quality of this hose hanger. We ordered the 180 ft version to hold 150 ft of hose. It even came with the screws to hang it. We live in the desert and the sun just destroys anything made of plastic, this should last forever.

After vowing never to buy a leaky plastic hose reel or cheap wall hanger again I set out to find a quality, simple metal hose hanger. After buying a couple online only to be dissapointed on how small they actually were or how thin the mounting plates were I returned them. Finally I found this one. Not only is it rust proof it is very sturdy and will actually hold my 75ft -3/4″ hose. The mounting plate is ⅛” thick and the solid SS bars are welded to it. The only issue I had, which doesn’t really matter to me is the mounting kit that came with it. It was basically useless for mounting to my brick wall. They supplied 5 plastic anchors and 5 SS screws. Only the screws were 2 differrent lengths. 2 screws were too long, they would have split the anchors in half and the other 3 were too short to even spread the anchors apart. I plan on using wedge anchors or tapcon screws I already have anyway so for me it was no big deal. If you want a simple, nice looking, sturdy hose hanger that will last a lifetime buy this one, just be prepared to buy your own mounting hardware.

Strong rack, holds a lot of hose
This is a simple but very sturdy hose rack, made of stainless-steel bar and a heavy-duty plate, with good, strong welds. In the pics you can see it with a 25′ and a 50′ hose hung on it together, and it supported both fine with room for more. It claims that this model will hold 180′ of hose; I don’t know about that, but it will hold a lot – easily 125 -150, I’d say.I was tired of cheap plastic or sheet metal hose reels and hangers, which always either break or corrode, and the wire kind you stick in the ground with several prongs don’t work here because the ground is too soft, and the weight of the hose makes them lean or tip over.This sturdy hanger, mounted to one of the 6×6 treated wood posts for our deck, should be a good long-term solution. I went a little overkill with the mounting, using three 1/4 x 3″ lag screws in the top 3 holes and long deck screws plus a washer for the bottom 2 holes. As you can see in the seller’s images, the mounting holes are arranged in an “X” pattern.I don’t believe it will mount to a 4×4 post because the spread of the outside holes is too wide; if it did fit, the screws would likely be so close to the sides of the 4×4 that it would split – of course, no reason you couldn’t attach a chunk of 2×6 or 2×8 lumber to your 4×4 post and screw or bolt it thru that. Just a thought.Anyway, this rack should last virtually forever if the welds hold, and I have no reason to think they won’t. I’m going to get another one for out front, although I’m undecided where I’ll mount it because I don’t want to drill into the brick walls of the house. May just plant a chunk of 6×6 post someplace convenient and do what I did out back.

Stout hose hanger
This hose hanger was to replace a old metal hanger that lasted for about 10 years. This one is stainless steel and was very easy to replace. Being stainless steel should last a very long time.
