I ordered these and I really thought they would be carbon steel with chrome plating, to my surprise they were really stainless steel, checked with magnet.I did use the supplied screws I used real good masonry screws.Very good product.

Sturdy
Seems sturdy so far. I live in Florida so paying the extra cost for stainless steel only makes sense. I chose the larger sized hose rack as I planned to double hose length. The picture included shows a 5/8 100' hose. Should be plenty of room for additional hose. Also note this has five mounting holes, not two like smaller racks. Two larger screws are provided for top holes, three smaller screws for lower three holes. This rack should last a lifetime.

Strong rack, holds a lot of hose
This is a simple but very sturdy hose rack, made of stainless-steel bar and a heavy-duty plate, with good, strong welds. In the pics you can see it with a 25' and a 50' hose hung on it together, and it supported both fine with room for more. It claims that this model will hold 180' of hose; I don't know about that, but it will hold a lot - easily 125 -150, I'd say.I was tired of cheap plastic or sheet metal hose reels and hangers, which always either break or corrode, and the wire kind you stick in the ground with several prongs don't work here because the ground is too soft, and the weight of the hose makes them lean or tip over.This sturdy hanger, mounted to one of the 6x6 treated wood posts for our deck, should be a good long-term solution. I went a little overkill with the mounting, using three 1/4 x 3" lag screws in the top 3 holes and long deck screws plus a washer for the bottom 2 holes. As you can see in the seller's images, the mounting holes are arranged in an "X" pattern.I don't believe it will mount to a 4x4 post because the spread of the outside holes is too wide; if it did fit, the screws would likely be so close to the sides of the 4x4 that it would split - of course, no reason you couldn't attach a chunk of 2x6 or 2x8 lumber to your 4x4 post and screw or bolt it thru that. Just a thought.Anyway, this rack should last virtually forever if the welds hold, and I have no reason to think they won't. I'm going to get another one for out front, although I'm undecided where I'll mount it because I don't want to drill into the brick walls of the house. May just plant a chunk of 6x6 post someplace convenient and do what I did out back.
